Statistics & Science (Pandemic)

A task in the eTwinning Everyday Math project. 
Students dealt with it in the months of January and February 2021.


Steps of our work

1 OUR COMMON TOPIC

The effect of pandemic and distance education on student psychology and education

2 OUR COMMON QUESTION

How the pandemic and distance education have an impact on student psychology and education life?

3 OUR COMMON TWO HYPOTHESIS

  1. Depending on pandemic and distance education; efficiency in education has increased or decreased.
  2. Depending on pandemic and distance education; student psychology affected positively or negatively.

4 TEST THE HYPOTHESIS

We tested our hypotheses in our schools. We applied a common survey to 100 students in our own schools. Then we evaluated the survey according to some common statistical formulas.

5 ANALYZE THE DATAS AND DRAW A CONCLUSION

We analyzed the data obtained from the survey by transforming it into graphs and tables. We have come to the conclusion.

6 REPORT THE RESULTS

We summarized all our work and results in a poster.

7 INTERVIEWS WITH TEACHERS

We asked the teachers what impact they thought the pandemic had on the students' lives. We prepared a video recording of the interviews.

8 PRESENT THE WORK

We presented our work to all partners with online meetings.
